- Dismissal Dashboard -Staff can now see what to expect and monitor the progress during the dismissal time. Go to the Dismissal screen and click on Dashboard. The system shows a set of gauges that with counters, showing the expected number of students in that dismissal mode (Car line, Bus, Early Release, Aftercare, Walkers, and marked Absent) for that day. Through the app, parents can schedule the dismissal modes for the week for each of their students. Under the gauges, staff can see who is expected to be dismissed using each dismissal mode prior to dismissal, and the status of each student as the dismissal takes place.

- Emergency Reunification – In the event of an unexpected change in dismissal plans, Emergency Reunification will spring into action. This essential new feature empowers staff members to adjust dismissal protocols, times, and locations as needed, ensuring the safety and well-being of all students. Once the changes are made, the application will automatically notify parents, keeping them informed and reassured during unexpected situations. The in-app student check-in feature provides staff with a real-time overview of dismissal, reducing chaos and increasing efficiency.
- Front Desk Release – We understand that certain students require extra care and attention during dismissal, and the new Frontdesk Release feature addresses this need head-on. Now, staff members can mark certain students for front desk release, ensuring that they are safely guided throughout the dismissal process. Once marked, the application notifies the student’s dismissing teacher, prompting them to direct the student to the front desk rather than the regular dismissal. This feature offers an extra layer of care for students who need it most.
- All Call – We’re eliminating the guesswork of when to release students to a central location with our new All Call feature. With just one click, staff can alert all teachers that it’s time to send their remaining students to a specified central location for dismissal. This mass notification system simplifies the process and ensures that all teachers are on the same page, making dismissals smoother and more organized than ever before.

- Driver’s Page – The Carpool page has been reworked for better functionality. Staff and administrators can now look up drivers and queue their students quickly.

- Schoolwide Push Notifications – Administrators can notify all DashPass Pickup app users directly from the DashPass School Portal. Notifications are sent immediately to everyone’s phone with the DashPass app.

- New Settings Menu – the geofence, queue size settings, and time zones are now combined into the School menu under Settings.
- New parent registration options – Parents without smartphones can now authorize schools to use DashPass to release their students by clicking the link at the bottom of the invitation email.
- Choose whose students to see – teachers and staff can view the students of one or more teachers at the same time in the dismissal screen.
- Scheduled dismissals – administrators can now scheduled dismissal times for the entire year, including Early Release Days, Block Schedules, Exceptions, etc.

- Queueing of bus riders on the dismissal page – when the bus status is changed to “loading”, the students who are rostered to ride the bus will appear in the dismissal page
